Carbon Monoxide Detector
The carbon monoxide detector is suitable for anyone living independently who may be at risk in their home. Those who are living with memory impairment, who may be prone to leaving appliances on by mistake, could benefit from this product. Carbon monoxide (CO) has no taste, smell or colour so it is very difficult for individuals to detect a problem. The device warns of dangerous CO levels with two alarms – one is an audible alarm that sounds within the property and the second alarm signal automatically connects to a 24/7 monitoring centre (this requires the device to be linked to a lifeline unit).
