The lifeline unit is the mainstay of TECS (Technology Enabled Care Services) and has helped hundreds of thousands of service users throughout the UK. This is not only for the elderly or infirmed, but also for those who require a little help to regain some confidence in and around the home. The pendant can be worn around the neck for ease of access or discreetly on the wrist, like a watch – either way the push button is simple to use and will alert the 24/7 monitoring centre instantly. A strong speaker system enables you to speak almost anywhere in your home, to give them details….if it is not possible to speak, don’t worry, the monitoring centre, will quickly ascertain this and escalate the situation to designated carers/loved ones or the emergency services, dependant on the situation.
Press the button – simply press the button on your pendant or base unit when you require help and it will automatically connect you to our friendly operators.
Speak to us – talk to our helpful operators through the speaker in the base unit. If they can’t hear you they will get the appropriate help.
Help is on its way – the operator will contact your nominated key holder (relative, friend, carer) or the emergency services.
This base unit runs on the cellular network and therefore does not require a landline and is fully Digital Switchover compatible.
