What If I Press My Alarm Button by Accident?
We understand that accidental activations can happen—here’s how you can cancel them quickly and easily:
Pendant Alarm: If you press the button by mistake, simply press the “Cancel” button on your base unit to stop the alert. If the call still goes through, just let the operator know it was accidental—they’ll cancel it right away.
Falls Detector: When triggered accidentally, the falls detector will flash and vibrate. To cancel the alert, gently shake the device until the flashing light stops and the vibration ends.
GPS Watch or GPS Pendant (Oysta Rio): If you’ve pressed the SOS button by mistake, press it again within a few seconds to cancel the call.
Don’t worry: If you can’t cancel it in time, just let the operator know it was a false alarm. Our team is happy to hear you’re safe and will log it accordingly.
