What Happens When I Press the Button on My Alarm Device?
When you press the button on your base unit, wearable accessory, or GPS device, a call is automatically placed to our 24/7 monitoring centre. Even if you’re unable to speak, our team is alerted and can begin coordinating help immediately.
For At-Home Systems: Our operators will speak with you through the loudspeaker and microphone built into the base unit. They will ask questions to assess your situation and arrange the most appropriate response.
For GPS Devices (Pendant or Watch): Our team will communicate with you directly through the device and use the built-in GPS to locate your exact position. GPS accuracy can vary slightly depending on your environment, typically between 10–200 metres.
If you’re unable to respond, our operators will follow your pre-agreed response plan. This may involve contacting your responders or calling emergency services. We will stay connected until help arrives and notify your next of kin if needed.
